I recently
visited Iceland’s capital Reykjavik, and instantly fell in love with the café
culture. The days are short, dark, and cold... and so a fascinating indoor culture
has evolved. Iceland’s café culture is wholly unique and inimitable; books line
the walls, and stacks of board games, and bric-a-brac form the basis for the
internal atmospherics.
Iceland is a beautiful island with an enchanting nature. The people believe in hidden dwarfs, Giants, tales of witchcraft, and elves… They also have 13 Santa Clauses!!!
Sadly, we
didn’t get to see the Northern Lights, we did however get to admire the
coloured houses. Iceland is not a dull place… you only need to look at the
houses to realize that. Who wouldn’t want to live in a coloured house?!
